• Account information: your email address (and phone number if you sign up by phone) used to create and secure your account.
• Scan data: the photos you capture or upload, and the item details you enter (such as brand, model, condition, and notes).
• Usage data: your scan history, saved items, and app activity, used to provide history and your profile features.
• Payment information: processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe or Apple). We do not store your full card details.

AI-Powered Analysis and Third-Party Data Sharing

To identify items and estimate their resale value, ValuIQ sends the photos you capture or upload and the item details you enter to third-party artificial intelligence services, including Anthropic (Claude) and Groq. These services process your submitted images and text to return identification and pricing analysis. We also query eBay to retrieve current listing data for comparison.

We share this data solely to provide the appraisal features of the app. We do not sell your personal data. Data you submit is transmitted securely and used only to generate your results. These third-party providers process data under their own privacy and security commitments. You provide explicit consent to this AI processing when you first use the app, and you may stop using the scanning features at any time.

How We Use Your Information

• To identify items and provide resale value estimates and appraisals.
• To maintain your scan history, saved items, and account.
• To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• To improve the accuracy and functionality of the app.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate the app (AI analysis providers, our database and hosting provider, payment processors, and market-data sources such as eBay). We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app, under Profile, Account, Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise account deletion in-app. For other requests, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

ValuIQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
